About the team
Within the Finance and Workplace organization, you will be an integral part of the Workplace Programs Team, a specialized subset of the broader Workplace Experience Team. As a Workplace Program Coordinator, you will support the establishment and maintenance of key programs and assist in the management of administrative duties (e.g. updating program documentation, data collection, etc.). You will learn and contribute to ensuring our workplaces are safe, inclusive, and welcoming, in alignment with Stripe's core values.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and coordination of workplace programs, including facilities management programs, onsites & events, environmental health and safety (EHS), global mail, remote work, food, change management initiatives, and other programs as they are created.
- Maintain organized program documentation, resources, and policies within platforms such as Confluence, Google Drive, etc., to ensure accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders, contributing to a continuously improving organizational knowledge base.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including submitting purchase orders, assisting with vendor onboarding, and updating financial trackers, while developing the skills necessary to operate more independently in daily tasks over time.
- Participate in gathering and analyzing data and employee feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement initiatives, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of program dynamics and challenges.
- Collaborate with Workplace pillar teams (e.g., Operations, Strategy, Environments) and cross-functional teams (e.g., Security, IT, People) to assist in operationalizing programs across global offices, ensuring clear communication of objectives and expectations..
- Support presentations for regular updates, trends, and recommendations to the team to influence program strategy and direction, building skills in reporting and stakeholder engagement under the guidance of management.
- Proactively assess opportunities and mitigate program risks, producing clear reporting for stakeholders at all levels, while utilizing provided direction to navigate problem-solving challenges.
- Contribute to special projects with clearly defined objectives, relying on guidance for project scope and execution while developing autonomy in project management skills.

Minimum requirements
- 2+ years of experience in program or project coordination or management.
- Developing proficiency in project management practices and a proactive attitude toward learning and growing within the project management space.
- Some experience collaborating within a workplace, real estate, or people team, with an understanding of relevant concepts and methodologies.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to proactively manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, while seeking guidance when necessary.
- Strong communication skills; ability to work well within a team environment, clearly convey ideas to internal teams and external partners, applying learnings from previous experiences.
- You enjoy navigating complex projects and challenges, and thrive in incrementally bringing clarity to ambiguous situations
- Familiarity with vendor onboarding and management processes as well as basic budget management, with proficiency in Google Sheets.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth technology company or similar fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of project management frameworks and software such as Asana, Monday, AirTable and/or Smartsheets
- Academic excellence (e.g. strong GPA), relevant internship experience, data analytics experience, and exposure to international or multicultural environments.
- Program/project management certifications eg. Go Lean Six sigma, PMP, etc.
