About The Team

Location: Melbourne Australia
We are located in a new office centrally located in the CBD of Melbourne. Our office is fun, vibrant and collaborative. Our office is immersed in Japanese culture providing modern facilities, gaming machines, free drinks and snacks and funky areas to relax or collaborate with your team. We have a hybrid working policy with set and flexible days in the office and working remotely. This position is mandatory in the office Monday - Friday.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4+years Previous experience in facilities and workplace management experience
- Excellent administration skills
- Basic knowledge of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. Basic knowledge of leases, contracts and related documents.
- Basic knowledge of emergency/crisis management for building operations.
- Knowledge in fiscal management and experience preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Adaptable and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solicit buy-in from key stakeholders spread across locations globally
- Ability to act as a flexible and innovative team player with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on approach
- Tech savvy, with strong G-Suite skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and team leadership skills
- Ability to lift 20 kgs and handle physical tasks as needed (examples, moving furniture and freight deliveries)
A day in the life of our Workplace Experience & Support Manager:
- Managing site access and security for employees and visitors to the premises
- Ensuring the safety of our employees through building evacuation and emergency preparedness and WHS compliance.
- Main point of contact for GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) at Sony
- Management of vendors and general amenities
- Logging requests for maintenance and repairs
- Ensuring the site is clean and well presented.
- Manage event setup and support and internal events (e.g. games nights, happy hours and catering)
- Ensuring office supplies are stocked and manage ordering
- New hire orientation and onboarding in collaboration with the People Team - desk setups, and cleanups for new and leaving employees
- Contribute to site improvements and planning
- Manage and communicate with Landlord and Lease and 3rd party vendors
- Daily conference and whiteboard resets
- Administration support for the sales team
- Sales and data entry for Merchandise and Home Entertainment
- Product Entry support for Netsuite
- Manage mailroom and storage cleaning and organization
- Manage and coordinate annual employee events such as Christmas Parties, Sporting celebrations, etc.
- Manage relationships with Vendors and book travel on behalf of Employees in line with Travel & Expense Policy.
- Internal content/Wayfinder/Appspace/updating displays
