The PeopleX Operations team’s mission is to drive operational excellence across the people function by leveraging systems, insights, and processes that enable strategic decision-making and workforce agility. We partner cross-functionally to ensure Robinhood’s people systems and processes scale effectively and efficiently.

As Workforce Planning Partner, you will serve as the strategic advisor and operations partner for a portfolio of departments. You’ll also lead key systems and process improvements that shape how the entire company approaches workforce planning and strategy! This role blends execution and enterprise-wide transformation.

This role is based in our Chicago, IL, Menlo Park, CA, and New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

  • Own headcount management and reporting for a portfolio of departments, maintaining accurate data and budgets to support strategic workforce planning
  • Deliver actionable insights to business and cross-functional leaders using data-driven reporting and dashboards
  • Partner with People Partners to operationalize organizational changes
  • Leverage AI and automation to drive efficiencies in headcount processes and systems
  • Prioritize tooling and system enhancement requests in collaboration with the People Systems team
  • Lead knowledge management and training initiatives to support self-service in workforce management
  • Ensure alignment and data integrity across Talent Acquisition, Finance, and People teams
  • Manage the audit program in partnership with HR Shared Services
  • Drive additional high-impact projects that improve planning tools and systems

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, people operations, or HR-related roles
  • Proven success improving processes and implementing scalable systems
  • Strong understanding of people data structures, reporting, and auditing best practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across levels and functions
  • Analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights that influence decisions
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives on identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Experience using Workday or similar HRIS platforms
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$119,000$140,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$105,000$123,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
$93,000$109,000 USD
