Location Details: Remote, India

What you'll get to do...

We are seeking a Web Application Firewall (WAF) engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Akamai and Cloudflare WAF solutions and will be responsible for implementing WAF policies and guidelines, developing and maintaining comprehensive rulesets, and onboarding applications onto our WAF platforms.

• Configure, manage, and optimize Akamai and Cloudflare WAF solutions to protect web applications from security threats
• Contribute to and maintain detailed documentation, including runbooks and troubleshooting guides, to support WAF operations and incident response
• Work closely with senior team members as well as cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and development, to ensure WAF configurations align with business and security requirements

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of experience as a WAF engineer, with proficiency in Akamai and Cloudflare WAF solutions
• Strong understanding of web application security principles and WAF configurations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex WAF issues
