Your role
The Vice President, Program Management Office, is the enterprise owner of how we choose, fund, and execute our most important work. This leader builds the connective tissue between strategy, investment, and execution, ensuring every major initiative is aligned to our OKRs, resourced appropriately, and delivered with enterprise-grade rigor.
You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and partner closely with C-level and functional leaders across Product, Engineering, Revenue, Customer, Finance, and People.
What you’ll do
- Lead the Strategic PMO team (program managers, portfolio analysts) and attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent.
- Partner with the CEO, COO, CFO, and executive team to translate strategy into a sequenced, resourced portfolio of initiatives.
- Build and maintain executive-ready reporting on portfolio health, risks, dependencies, and realized/expected outcomes.
- Design and run governance forums (e.g., portfolio councils, steering committees, quarterly business reviews) that drive decisions, not just updates.
- Ensure change management, communications, and adoption plans are embedded in every major program.
- Champion a culture of focus, trade-offs, and follow-through—fewer, bigger, better bets rather than scattered activity.
Skills you’ll bring
- 15+ years of experience in Program/Portfolio Management, Strategy, or Operations, with at least 7+ years leading enterprise-level PMO / SPMO or equivalent.
- Deep experience operating in a high-growth, multi-stakeholder environment (e.g., SaaS, technology, or similarly complex business).
- Proven track record of standing up or scaling an enterprise PMO, including portfolio governance, funding models, and standard methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to partner credibly with C-level leaders, influence without authority, and drive alignment across functions.
- Strong financial acumen; comfortable building and challenging business cases, investment plans, and ROI models.
- Expertise in organizational change management and driving adoption of new operating models, tools, and behaviors.
- Exceptional communication skills—able to zoom out for board-level narratives and zoom in on execution details when needed.
