The Role:
We’re looking for an accomplished and visionary Vice President, FP&A to lead, scale, and transform our global FP&A function. Reporting to the CFO, this leadership role requires a strategic partner to the CFO, executive team, and the extended leadership team, driving the overall financial strategy and performance management framework for OpenTable. This role requires exceptional executive presence, deep financial expertise, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
In this role, you will:
- Set the strategic direction for the global financial planning process, including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with OpenTable’s corporate strategy and growth targets.
- Provide executive financial leadership and counsel to the CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team on critical business decisions, performance drivers, and capital allocation strategies.
- Oversee and direct the preparation of sophisticated financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate new business ventures, M&A opportunities, and growth initiatives, ensuring robust data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of high-impact presentations and reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors, offering clear visibility into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, tools, and processes (e.g., Pigment, OneStream), establishing a best-in-class FP&A function for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the entire FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Partner cross-functionally at the executive level (e.g., with Marketing, Product, Sales) to manage organizational resources and align financial objectives with company priorities.
Please apply if you have:
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting, including a minimum of 5 years leading a global or large-scale FP&A function.
- Exceptional executive-level presentation and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence strategic outcomes across the organization.
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and advanced financial planning tools (e.g., Pigment, OneStream).
- Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing finance teams, driving accountability and superior results.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic business partner to C-level executives.
- A focus on accuracy and timely delivery, and are detail-oriented.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting competing deadlines.
- Proactive, problem-solving approach, continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes.
- A high level of intellectual curiosity, a growth mindset, and a self-starter mentality.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. For this role based in our Norwalk, CT office, the base salary range is $260,000 to $280,000.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus, equity grant; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
