We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead a team of high-performing Executive Assistants in Costa Rica. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing each EA and building processes that enable them to effectively support executives across the company. This position requires an operational leader with excellent communication skills and previous experience managing a team, preferably of 15+Executive Assistants.
Impact you will have:
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ Executive Assistants aligned to GTM Executives (Executives in Sales, Field Engineering, and Marketing) to ensure high performance and professional growth, while providing direct executive support to 1–2 Executives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between executives, EAs, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the GTM EA team, ensuring efficient management of executives' schedules, meetings, and communications.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Partner with the EA Manager and Corp Ops leadership to align the EA team’s objectives with the company’s strategic goals, while establishing the right framework to operate as a Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Cross-Functional Team Building: Develop a structure for the team to function as a cross-functional unit, supporting multiple departments across the organization.
What we look for:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing a team of Executive Assistants or similar roles or proven track record of strong leadership in a fast paced environment
- Previous Executive Assistant experience (minimum 5 years), Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, HR, or a related field
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams or projects within a corporate environment
- Proven ability to engage with senior executives to build trust, solicit actionable feedback, and translate insights into team development and operational improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
- Flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate different time zones (primarily U.S.)
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to thrive in a diverse, global environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Fluent in English (C1 level or above) and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
