This role will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Ops and will work closely with our Tax, Product, and Engineering teams to prioritize all projects that impact Robinhood's Tax Operations. This role will manage and help develop the Tax Operations team’s strategic roadmap, including tax involvement in company-wide projects and launches, as well as tax regulatory project management.
This role is based in our Menlo Park office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Support Tax Ops roadmap with vendor strategy, requirements, testing, and communicate to leadership.
- Work together on all tax related communications and training materials to ensure customers and other interested parties are informed of key deadlines, including the tax season calendar
- Participate in various tax-related projects to launch, improve, and scale Robinhood products and systems (i.e. Securities, Crypto, Derivatives, and Cash-related products) both domestically and internationally
- Understand and prioritize regulatory projects and deadlines, including tax season preparation and coordination in partnership with Product Managers and/or Engineering teams across all lines of business to secure vital resources and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor and track new product launches, use metrics and benchmarks to evaluate team progress, and hold vendors accountable to service level agreements and delivery timelines
- Work with various business partners on tax projects designed to enhance customer experience by offering new reports or functionality and by improving communications and help content
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2026/Spring 2027.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A high level of curiosity and a proactive approach, with a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Comfortable using data to monitor performance, evaluate progress, and communicate insights to collaborators.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
