Pinterest brings millions of people the inspiration to create a life they love. We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Tax Analyst to join our growing Tax team.
You’ll report to our Tax Director in Dublin and have the opportunity to work on a variety of direct and indirect tax issues in an international environment.
What you’ll do:
- Work with external advisers to manage direct and indirect tax compliance for the international region. Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and payments.
- Support the international accounting team with tax aspects of financial statement preparation.
- Assist on cross-functional projects, accurately capturing advice, interpreting its impact to Pinterest and disseminating in a concise and understandable manner to key stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation.
- Support in data gathering and preparation of responses for international tax audits.
- Monitor the tax landscape internationally and assist in determining the impact to Pinterest.
- Build, maintain, and improve tax-related processes.
- Prioritise workflow to ensure timely delivery of work products.
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant tax experience with a combination of Professional Services and industry preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
- Collaborative work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented culture.
- VAT/GST practical experience is a plus.
- Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualified or equivalent. Professional Accounting qualification is a plus.
