Pinterest Support Operations (PSO) is the primary customer support function at Pinterest and a key part of the customer experience with our consumer and ad products. As a Strategy & Operations Manager on the team, you’ll drive critical insights and operating mechanisms that connect Support to business outcomes. You’ll partner with leaders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Trust & Safety to fundamentally improve how we execute. With exceptional analytical skills, an insatiable curiosity, and an entrepreneurial, “get stuff done” mindset, you’ll help us build the future of support —shaping the executive agenda and driving changes that will impact Pinners, Advertisers, Merchants, Creators, and Business Partners at scale.
What you’ll do:
- Business Analytics & Reporting. Lead enterprise health and insights reporting for PSO—owning OKRs, Monthly Business Reviews, and monthly/quarterly Support insights. Define the critical KPIs that matter, build executive‑ready narratives, and translate trends into actions that drive operational rigor and performance.
- Strategy & Special Projects. Tackle high‑impact strategic initiatives. Frame ambiguous questions, run the analyses, and craft crisp recommendations. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, and drive the “follow through” of those recommendations to ensure smooth execution with a diverse array of cross-functional partners.
- Planning & Forecasting. Support company-level strategy-setting and planning efforts. Establish a continuous improvement flywheel for PSO that prioritizes, executes, and measures impact.
- Program/Project Management. Structure and execute on projects by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant information, and developing final recommendations. Align stakeholders, surface risks/decisions, and keep critical workstreams moving.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of top‑tier experience. You’ve been a top performer in Strategy & Operations, BizOps, consulting, investment banking, product or support operations and/or other highly analytical roles at a fast-growing company; familiarity with consumer internet and media ecosystem is a plus.
- Exceptional data analysis skills. You’re a true expert in a variety of advanced analytical tools, including Excel, GSheets, and SQL (and in areas you’re not, you have the growth mindset to learn it); experience with Tableau or similar BI tools and advanced visualization is a plus; familiarity with AI tools is highly welcomed.
- Strategic, structured thinker. You bring first‑principles thinking to ambiguous problems and focus teams on the highest‑leverage questions.
- Entrepreneurial self‑starter. You thrive in ambiguity, independently seek information, corral resources, and deliver results without waiting for direction.
- Strong communication and executive presence. You move seamlessly from deep‑dive analytics to succinct, executive‑ready storytelling; you influence decisions and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- High‑energy, positive team player. Low ego, high collaboration instinct; proven ability to lead cross‑functional workstreams and scale operating mechanisms for a small (but mighty) team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Operations Research or equivalent experience.
Relocation Statement:
- This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Visit our PinFlex page to learn more about our working model.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
