Key Responsibilities

• • Architect, design, and implement scalable fullstack solutions using Next.js 15 (App Router) and React, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability.

  • Design and develop backend services using Node.js, Express, and GraphQL (REST & GQL APIs) following SOA and microservices principles.

  • Build and integrate Federated GraphQL architectures to support distributed teams and scalable domains.

  • Lead TypeScript (5.8.3) standards across frontend and backend, enforcing strong typing, shared schemas, and clean architectural patterns.

  • Design, integrate, and optimize API Gateways for authentication, routing, rate limiting, and service orchestration.

  • Work with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, ensuring data consistency, performance, and scalability.

  • Implement and optimize search solutions using Elasticsearch / OpenSearch.

  • Design and integrate event-driven systems using Kafka and message queues for asynchronous communication.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Platform teams to deliver high-impact, AI-enabled features.

  • Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical mentoring, raising the bar for engineering excellence.

  • Ensure observability, performance optimization, and reliability across the entire application lifecycle.

  • Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows, code quality, testing, and documentation.

Must-have Skills

• Expert-level experience with Next.js (App Router) and React in large-scale production environments.

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript 5.x, with experience building shared types across frontend and backend.

• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Express, and REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL, including Federated GraphQL architectures.

• Solid understanding of SOA and microservices, including service boundaries and inter-service communication.

• Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

• Practical experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.

• Experience designing and consuming event-driven systems using Kafka or message queues.

• Strong understanding of API Gateways and backend integration patterns.

• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering best practices.

Nice-to-have

• Experience building and operating AI-powered features or integrating AI tools into development workflows.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems at scale.

• Experience with system observability, logging, and monitoring in microservice environments.

• Background in performance tuning for APIs, databases, and search systems.

• Experience contributing to long-term architectural vision and platform evolution.

• Knowledge of security best practices for APIs, data access, and distributed systems.
