Snapshot of Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Recruiter (Temp) to support our growing team during a period of high-priority hiring. In this role, you’ll manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions, including G&A, Tech, Marketing and more. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and  cross-functional teams to deliver an outstanding, inclusive candidate experience — all while helping us bring on the best talent to support our mission.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role that offers the opportunity to work with multiple parts of the business, sharpen your craft, and contribute to a values-driven team.

 

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage full-cycle recruiting for a wide range of roles across MasterClass
  • Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers, aligning on priorities, process, and candidate profiles
  • Source and attract talent from a range of backgrounds and industries, using both active and passive outreach
  • Run efficient, structured, and inclusive hiring processes that reflect MasterClass’s culture and values
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with People Ops, Finance, and Hiring Teams to support a seamless hiring experience
  • Work within our recruiting tech suite, including Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • This is a full time temporary position (6-9 months).

About You

  • 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience at a fast-growing/fast-paced startup working across multiple functions (e.g., G&A, Tech, Marketing)
  • Experience with DEI sourcing/recruiting, with knowledge of where and how to identify and source diverse talent, as well as how to mentor and educate colleagues in this area
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — you build trust, set expectations, and influence with ease
  • Fluent in using Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms; highly organized with strong process instincts
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — quick to prioritize and adapt
  • Committed to inclusive hiring and equitable candidate experiences
  • Reside in the United States
  • Access to a personal computer and reliable internet connection required

 

Pay Transparency

$68 - $85 / hour

The rate listed is for NYC/CA/WA. As a company, we have a location based strategy, which means the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. MasterClass’s ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry.
