The Content Safety product and engineering team is responsible for ensuring that Pinterest is the safest corner of the internet. We’re responsible for evaluating all content on the platform to ensure it complies with our policies and supports the inspiration and discovery that makes Pinterest so special.
What you’ll do:
- Develop strong foundational understanding of your harm areas, why they are important, and what Pinterest has done in the space so far
- Help identify the biggest gaps, across ML, data, process, platforms, etc and propose the highest priority to work on
- Build relationships with key partners, including your EM, Ops lead, and Policy team that will help your work progress
- Build a deep understanding of internal tools and user-facing products that support content safety
- Produce OKRs, PRD’s, and Product Strategies for your harm areas that leverage your cross-functional team
- Lead the delivery of work, often through experimentation, that makes progress towards your key metrics
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in a role related to product development, at fast-growing technology companies
- Experience and demonstrated passion for content safety initiatives OR broader T&S areas
- Proven ability to lead teams and work in a highly collaborative environment
- Capable of driving clarity while balancing multiple perspectives and stakeholders
- Comfortable diving into ambiguous technical problems, working closely with engineering teams
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally to many stakeholders
- Great business judgment and ability to influence others with strong analytical thinking
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience

- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2 times/year and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
