Sr. Manager, Insights - TFT Publishing

As the Teamfight Tactics Publishing Insights Lead, you will own the insights agenda for TFT’s publishing, Esports and platform experiences. You will define and manage workstreams to deeply understand our different audience segments, guide publishing experimentation, and help regional teams tailor content strategies that scale efficiently. You’ll work closely with global publishing and growth Project Managers to understand how players discover, engage, and return to TFT across mobile and PC. You will collaborate effectively with the TFT Development and Insights Leads to achieve your team’s goals. This hybrid position offers a blend of onsite collaboration at our global headquarters in Santa Monica, CA, and the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct custom insights work in support of TFT Publishing questions, including publishing, esports, and platform product strategy, in combination with prioritization set by the TFT leadership team. 
  • Build campaign tracking and impact frameworks for TFT’s global publishing efforts, including partnering with global marketing to design and assess experiments in regional content delivery
  • Take accountability for the availability and quality of data needed to support all Publishing Insights work through working with central data engineering teams
  • Develop insights that inform tone, channel, and creator strategy for TFT players.
  • Lead work that defines and evolves publishing-focused TFT player segmentations, integrating behavioral and attitudinal data into actionable personas.
  • Partner with Regional Publishing Leads across the globe to support global-to-regional publishing strategy with localized insights and comparative benchmarking.
  • Partner with publishing PMs on campaign evaluation, creative testing, and player touchpoint measurement that help guide new product strategy methods. 
  • Drive a continuous learning cycle in the PubSports organization utilizing A/B testing frameworks and KPIs for marketing experimentation and learning agendas for TFT. 
  • Partner with the Ecosystem Insights Lead, Central Analytics and Infrastructure Enablement leads on ecosystem-wide efforts like audience frameworks, performance standards, and cross-game learnings.

Required Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years in insights roles, with expertise in either research or analytics; 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading publishing insights for a large multinational organisation
  • Deep understanding of brand tracking, audience segmentation, and social/digital marketing analytics.
  • Strong communication with ability to influence across creative/product oriented and technical audiences.
  • Ability to synthesize behavioral, survey, and social data into compelling narratives for creative and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience applying mixed methods approaches to high-impact strategic problems and working in a high stakes, cross-functional environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading Publishing Insights work in the gaming or entertainment sectors
  • Understanding of TFT player behaviors and motivations across platforms and experience as a TFT player.
  • Experience building insights support for mobile game publishing.
  • Experience managing brand or creative testing in experimental markets.
