Key Responsibilities:

Apply agile software development practices and define application architecture models and programming standards.
Design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management while setting application development standards.
Collaborate with product teams to manage technical scope and deliverables, identify strategic technical debt, and provide cost/benefit analysis and prioritization recommendations.

Must-have Skills:

4 years of iOS native Mobile development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
Familiar with data structure, system design, design patterns, API designs, MVP or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
Full stack background is a huge plus.
Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc is a plus.
A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies.
If you have a background in journalism, even better!

Nice-to-have:

AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
