About the position
We’re on a mission to help customers fall in love with Hover — and stay in love. As our Senior Lifecycle Growth Manager, you’ll help build the foundation for how we communicate with our customers — from the very first touchpoint through long-term engagement. You’ll design programs that turn curious signups into loyal users, crafting experiences that are timely, personal, and genuinely helpful.
We’re at the start of our lifecycle journey, which means you’ll have a rare opportunity to shape the entire system — deciding how we use channels like email, SMS, push, in-app, and product tour to guide customers toward success.
If you love blending creativity with data, testing ideas fast, and building something new from the ground up, this role is for you.
You will contribute by
- Build and grow our engagement engine. You’ll design and run multi-channel campaigns that help customers get started, find value, and keep coming back — starting with Braze and evolving as we scale.
- Test, learn, repeat. From onboarding flows to reactivation nudges, you’ll experiment your way to what works — turning insights into smarter experiences across the customer journey.
- Write for impact. You’ll craft simple, motivating messages that help people take the next step — whether it’s an email, SMS, push, or product tour.
- Make every touchpoint smarter. You’ll use AI and automation to personalize content and timing, so customers hear from us in ways that actually feel helpful.
- Own the details. You’ll handle setup, QA, deployment, and reporting in Braze — and build better systems so we can move faster and launch more confidently.
- Collaborate and connect. You’ll work closely with Growth, Product, Marketing, and Design to bring ideas to life, and with Data and Engineering to make sure our targeting and personalization run on the right signals.
Your background includes
- 8+ years in lifecycle or growth within a high-growth SaaS or consumer tech company.
- Hands-on experience with Braze (or similar platforms like Iterable or Customer.io), building automated, multi-channel campaigns from scratch.
- A strong grasp of behavioral triggers, segmentation, and personalization tactics.
- Comfort with data — you can build and QA segments, read dashboards, and spot opportunities in the funnel.
- A bias for action — you test, learn, and iterate fast to drive measurable impact.
- Empathy and craft in communication. You know how to write lifecycle messages that feel personal.
- A builder’s mindset — you get energy from designing systems and processes where none exist yet.
- Curiosity about how AI and automation can make engagement smarter and more human.
Why this role matters
Hover is at the beginning of building a world-class lifecycle program — and you’ll help define what that looks like. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, the tools to build, and the support to scale your ideas into systems that shape how millions of users experience Hover.
