As a Content and Production Operations Specialist on the Programming and Originals team, you’ll coordinate production, optimize processes, and ensure the smooth execution of Editorial and Original content series tentpoles.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee production management infrastructure requirements to support Pinterest’s Programming & Originals content goals. From development stages through production and post-production, to deliver against the agreed creative vision and push for maximum possible creative quality and production values while delivering on time and on budget.
- Lead cross-functional projects to secure stakeholder alignment and drive the successful global launch of all Original series and go-to-market initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and effective coordination across all phases.
- Design and implement new logistical and production management strategies allowing for greater alignment against deliverables, budgets, production calendars and workflow, including in-house production capabilities.
- Sit at the center of the Programming & Originals team, and act as the production lynchpin between Editorial, Originals, Product, Partnerships, Ad sales and Strategy to optimize workflow between teams.
- Facilitate execution and project management of Editorial Content and Original series tentpoles, including reporting progress, stakeholder engagement, building production timelines, overseeing budgets and resolving roadblocks.
- Develop and Optimize the models and frameworks for content tracking and performance.
- Work with Head of Edorial, Originals and Head of Operations to build new workflows and production processes for Editorial, Original Content and Ad Sales activations.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in Production (tech and a mix of B2C/B2B experience a plus), preferably with diverse experience across production and creative operations.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, experience organizing information in a high level way to communicate key points to partners and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong bias to action.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions, assess performance, anticipate trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
