The Team & Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solution Engineer to secure and manage collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other SaaS platforms. This role is crucial for maintaining secure, compliant, and efficient collaboration environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system hardening, proactive threat detection, and implementing advanced data protection protocols across Google, Slack, Zoom, and other SaaS solutions.
Experience needed:
- Administration & Configuration:
- Lead the administration and configuration of Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Manage related services and third-party integrations.
- Manage additional enterprise collaboration tools like Box and Dropbox, ensuring seamless integration and data sharing.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices, including access control, data loss prevention (DLP), and encryption policies across all collaboration platforms.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and data protection regulations.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Proactively monitor system health, performance, and capacity.
- Lead troubleshooting for complex technical issues across Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other SaaS applications.
- User Support & Training:
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of requests.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users and IT staff on effective use of Google Workspace and other collaboration tools.
- Migration & Integration:
- Lead data migration projects between collaboration platforms (e.g., from Box to Google Drive).
- Integrate Google Workspace with other enterprise systems and tools for seamless workflows.
- Optimization & Reporting:
- Continuously optimize Google Workspace usage to improve productivity and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports on collaboration tool usage, system performance, and license management.
- Advanced Integration & Automation:
- Leverage Google Apps Script and other automation tools to enforce security policies, automate administrative tasks, and optimize secure workflows.
- Lead integrations with other enterprise systems using Google Workspace APIs to streamline secure data flows while adhering to cybersecurity standards.
- Create Slack Apps and Zoom Apps and integrate them with internal/external apps using Client ID, Client Secret, Scopes, etc.

What you’ll do
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-9 years of experience managing and administering collaboration platforms in an enterprise environment.
- Experience in supporting organization-to-organization Merger & Acquisition activities.
- Expertise in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), including administration, security, and third-party integrations.
- Strong knowledge of configuration, data management, and enterprise security practices.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) integrations.
- Demonstrated experience in data migration projects between collaboration platforms.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT policies, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues in a large-scale environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and support end-users and technical teams.
Nice to haves:
- Expertise in Google Vault,
- Managing Google Workspace environment with GAM Tool
- Basic understanding of Google Workspace APIs, Slack APIs, and Zoom API. Added advantage in this position if you know how to leverage these APIs.
- Experience with Google DLP Rules.
- Experience with any automation using programming languages or low-code/no-code platforms is highly preferred.
