What we’re looking for
The Solutions Consulting team supports clients and Account Executives throughout the sales cycle and reports to the manager of Sales Engineering. In-office options are available in Sydney. As a Sales Solutions Consultant, you will provide pre-sales technical, functional, and strategic support to prospective clients and customers, ensuring their satisfaction. In addition to supporting the sales team in pre-sales conversations, you will collaborate across the organization, including with product, marketing, legal, and security.
What you’ll be working on
- Support our prospective clients and Account Executives throughout the sales cycle by translating features into value drivers for their business
- Provide functional and technical expertise in the pre-sales phase, including knowledge of SurveyMonkey’s platform, APIs, Mobile SDKs, and additional solutions
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and custom Security Reviews
- Be a customer advocate internally while working with other teams, including Product, support, engineering, and sales
- Provide training to improve product knowledge and demo abilities
- Develop working knowledge of the competitive landscape and become an expert in the CX space
We’d love to hear from people with
- 4+ years of experience as a Sales Consultant, Sales Engineer, or equivalent role, with a focus on SaaS
- A curious and inquisitive mind, with an interest in exploring and self-teaching new programs and integrations
- A technical background with experience working with APIs
- HTML & CSS, and some JavaScript preferred, but not required
- Experience delivering SaaS demonstrations and writing technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Fluency in English required
- Any other language is excellent, but not necessary: proficiency in Japanese, Korean, and/or Mandarin preferred.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
