The Solutions Architect partners with both prospective and current customers, engaging early in the pre-sales stage. This role focuses on understanding a client's core business objectives and technical requirements, then actively designing and documenting a complete solution prior to the contract being signed. 

The Solutions Architect blends deep technical and product knowledge with business domain expertise to create an optimal solution. This individual works cross-departmentally to write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for new features and ensures a smooth handoff to the delivery team once the engagement is finalized.

How you'll contribute:

  • Early Solution Discovery: Collaborate with sales, product and integration teams during the pre-sales stage to proactively identify solution requirements before the contract is signed.
  • System Integrations Expertise: Articulate how to integrate internal systems with third-party technologies to create a seamless and effective solution meeting customer needs.
  • Client Engagement: Lead client discovery sessions to capture client’s features, products, and customization needs. Create/present design and requirements documentation for client approval.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Product Managers to validate any required customizations and ensure solutions adhere to guidance. 
  • Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and champion any features that need to be built by the product team. 
  • Project Handoff: After the contract is signed, hand off project details to the Delivery team to ensure smooth scheduling and planning.

Who you are:

  • Experience: At least 3-4 years of experience in customer-facing solutions roles and experience designing solutions with knowledge of NodeJS, Typescript, Go, and other web technologies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in system architecture and relevant technologies (CRM, Marketing, Analytics, SOR). Experience integrating using Restful APIs and SDKs. An understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, SOA)
  • Technical Product Management Experience: A profile with a background in technical product management is ideal, given the need for early engagement with Product.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Technical Product Management Experience: A profile with a background in technical product management is a great fit, given the need for continuous engagement with product teams.
  • Experience leading technical discovery and requirement gathering workshops
  • Low Code Tools such as Mulesoft

Bonus points

  • Experience with: Functional Programming Languages, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, SQL, .NET, Java, Javascript.
  • Experience in: Third-party and back-office integrations.
  • Full stack development experience: 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Banking technology and/or operations experience.
  • Loan Origination Systems (LOS): Encompass or Empower
  • Core banking platforms: Fiserv DNA/Signature, FIS, Jack Henry, Correlation

 

To comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.

For full time hires, the hiring hourly compensation range for this position is between $132,000.00 - $155,000.00 (This range is based on market data for NYC and San Francisco).

Final pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
