What We Are Looking For

The Shopify Site Merchandising Manager owns the onsite customer experience across Shopify, driving site merchandising, marketing execution, and conversion optimization. This role is on the merchandising team, working closely with the Sr. Merchant to understand product launches and priorities; partnering cross functionally with Lifecycle, Performance Marketing and Creative to deliver a cohesive, site experience.

What You Will Own And How You Will Make A Difference 

• Create strategies for and execute all site merchandising across homepage, navigation cart and collection pages, and fitting room including real time sorting to optimize conversion
• Brief, manage, and deploy all onsite marketing assets, including video and creative assets using our digital asset manager Canto
• Record historical assets of homepage and collections for future hindsight, uploading and managing them in Canto
• Manage all product and collection set up, tagging and product catalog hygiene to keep the Shopify admin tool running smoothly
• Partner with Paid Media and Lifecycle teams on landing page strategy, develop pages for all tests and support campaign performance
• Brief and manage marketing assets for the Amazon store/site and ads (15% of role scope)
• Analyze site performance and customer behavior to inform merchandising and marketing decisions
• Manage and develop one direct report

Who You Are

• Shopify expert with hands-on experience in onsite merchandising and marketing execution
• 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce site merchandising and site marketing
• Experience executing A/B tests, personalization, and onsite optimization as directed by the marketing PM
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action
• Experience managing creative assets, using a DAM and working cross-functionally
• Prior people management experience
• Apparel or consumer retail experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment
