The Role:
The SoFi Enterprise IT team is seeking an experienced Workday Security & Reporting Administrator to drive the strategy, development, and security of our HR and Finance data systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring Workday is utilized effectively as a centralized data source, with an unwavering commitment to data governance, privacy, and security. This role will directly influence our people and financial systems and enhance the overall employee experience.
This role will require collaboration across the People, Finance and Payroll teams within SoFi. You will be a part of an organization where you influence the thinking around our processes and systems, resulting in a direct impact on our employee experience.
What you’ll do:
- Access Provisioning and Deprovisioning: Execute all daily processes for granting, modifying, and revoking user access in Workday, adhering strictly to established access control policies and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Security Configuration Administration: Design, configure, and actively administer security roles, security groups, and data access policies based on incoming, approved access requests. This includes daily maintenance of security group memberships (Role-Based, Intersection, User-Based, etc.).
- Request and Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving security-related operational requests and incidents. Assess and resolve both security-related and reporting-related access issues (e.g., "I can't see this worker," "I can't run this report") within established guidelines.
- Security Analysis: Utilize Workday's security audit tools and security functionality to rapidly diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to unauthorized access or missing permissions.
- End-to-End Secure Reporting: Lead the full lifecycle of custom report and dashboard solutions (requirements gathering, developing, testing, documentation, and deployment), ensuring security and least-privilege is built-in from the outset.
What you’ll need:
- 4+ years experience with Workday
- Advanced knowledge of Workday security and experience configuring domain, user and role-based security and data access policies
- Proficiency in analyzing and documenting complex business requirements and translating them into Workday security configurations
- Demonstrated expertise in Workday Report Writer and Reporting/Analytics modules
- Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities based on business needs.
