About the role
Crunchyroll is looking for a Senior Systems Transformation Manager to join our Business Transformation team. This is a strategic, product-led role where you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for critical enterprise systems that power Crunchyroll’s content, finance, rights, and operational workflows.
You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, aligning system capabilities with high-impact business needs and driving alignment across cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in prioritizing features, leading integrations, and shaping process improvements that scale with Crunchyroll’s global growth.
As the Senior Systems Transformation Manager will report to the Principal Systems Transformation Manager. We are considering candidates who can work a hybrid schedule based in our Los Angeles office
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: Define and drive the strategic multi-phase roadmap for core enterprise systems (contract management, CRM, metadata, rights, and finance platforms).
- System Implementation & Feature Delivery: Lead full lifecycle implementation of CRM, rights, royalty, and accounting systems, authoring PRDs and functional specifications.
- Business-Technical Liaison & Solution Translator: Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business processes into structured system requirements.
- Operational Process Design & Scaling: Redesign workflows and implement system-driven solutions to improve accuracy and support future business scale.
- Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence: Build strong partnerships across Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other teams to manage interdependencies and ensure deliverables meet strategic and operational requirements.
About You
- 6–8 years of experience in digital media, CRM, finance systems, system implementation, or product management.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to align systems initiatives with long-term business goals and prioritize high-impact features.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering critical project outputs, including executive-level communications, system/product roadmaps, and system requirements documentation (BRDs/PRDs).
- Hands-on experience leading end-to-end system implementations and enhancements, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), Royalty management systems (e.g., Alliant), Rights/contract management tools (e.g., Rightsline), and Content accounting platforms and ERPs (e.g., NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of legal and financial workflows, including content acquisition, contract metadata management, and royalty accruals.
- Exceptional communicator and collaborator, skilled in working across business, legal, engineering, and vendor teams to drive consensus and resolve ambiguity.
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated experience producing root cause analysis, operational dashboards, and optimization proposals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
