The following position is available:
TITLE OF POSITION: Senior Solution Architect, Revenue Accounting
REQUIREMENTS: Education/ Experience Requirements: Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s work experience as an Accountant, Auditor, or a related occupation. Must also be Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Experience must include 5 years of experience with each of the following:
- Providing guidance on interpretation of ASC 605 and ASC 606 rules.
- Designing automated ASC 605 and ASC 606 revenue recognition frameworks.
- Order to Revenue process in ERP Systems including SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite.
- Data conversion activities involving ERP and Revenue platforms.
- Period close activities involving ERP and Revenue platforms.
- Conducting financial statement audits.
Zuora, Inc. seeks a Senior Solution Architect, Revenue Accounting to:
- Advise customers on aspects of revenue accounting.
- Lead and support the solution architect(s) in requirements gathering and analysis sessions with clients from a revenue perspective.
- Lead the fit/gap analysis on business requirements.
- Lead and support the customer with meetings to answer revenue accounting policy questions.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to the architects, customers and design appropriate revenue solutions.
- Lead and support period close revenue accounting reconciliations, reporting reconciliations and recommend best practices regarding same.
- Prepare internal technical accounting training materials.
