We are looking for a Senior software engineer who will develop automated, scalable, and efficient solutions to complex workflows. The ideal candidate has an extensive experience and proven ability to analyze, design and automate manual operations.
What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer
- Develop PL/SQL and bash programs to automate complex business functions.
- Learn Oracle database and Linux systems administration and utilize knowledge and experience to implement IaC management of our database platform.
- Learn Oracle Goldengate 21c Microservices and utilize knowledge and experience to expand capabilities of our IaC data streaming platform.
- Use your SQL tuning experience to implement automated detection and, when possible, correction of poorly performing SQL throughout our database platform.
- Help us modernize our automation toolkit.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in writing PL/SQL and bash code to automate complex processes.
- Experience in database design for high-volume OLTP and DSS
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Be a self-starter who can take ownership and lead projects
- Be passionate about the automation
- Be a perfectionist with a high level of attention to details
- Have a positive attitude
- Be a team player
- Have ability to work on projects independently as well as part of the team
Nice to haves
- Experience in using Jenkins for process automation
- Experience with Git and SVN
- Have basic Oracle database administration experience
- Have basic knowledge of Linux (RedHat or similar)
