Overview

About the Team - Instacart is continuing to grow & will be expanding its Off-Platform Sales Team. We are looking for an experienced NYC or Chicago based Sr. Sales Executive to drive large scale data partnerships via Instacart’s data & measurement solutions across brands and their agencies.

About the Role - This Sr. Sales Executive will be responsible for data revenue growth across select brands & their agencies.  This quota carrying Sr. Sales Executive will engage with brands directly, their media teams, and their agency account teams to drive awareness and ultimately, activation of Instacart data & measurement solutions.  They will also closely align with internal cross functional colleagues including Brand Partnerships, Agency Development, Ads Product, Partnerships, and Marketing to successfully drive revenue generating strategies.

About the Job 

  • Represent Instacart’s data solutions with excellence across specific brands & their agencies.
  • Grow existing & generate new revenue streams via our data solutions at specific agency hold co’s, in partnership with Instacart’s Brand Partnership & Agency Development teams.
  • Map, develop and maintain trusting relationships with brand’s media teams as well as their agency teams across programmatic / video / social disciplines.
  • Display operational excellence through pipeline development, revenue forecasting & reporting.
  • Be an excellent storyteller; create presentations that speak to the evolution of the commerce & media ecosystem and showcase solutions powered by Instacart’s data to help brands achieve their KPI’s. 
  • Partner and coordinate with Instacart sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals & activations 
  • Aid in building out best in class data solutions and go to market strategies for Instacart.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of relevant ad/agency/platform sales experience 
  • Proven success exceeding sales quotas & growing revenues YoY through generating customer centric solutions
  • Client relationship builder with executive presence
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape, specifically programmatic, social and video.
  • Commercial minded and data based thinker
  • Understanding of CPG industry
  • Success in operating in very fast paced environment
  • Deals well with ambiguity; ability to stay focused in dynamic, rapidly-changing environments.  
  • Must be open to travel (2-3x/month); client meetings, conferences, panels, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfort with data analysis and modeling
