The Technical Recruiting team partners closely with Engineering to attract and hire talent that enables Robinhood to achieve its Mission to Democratize Finance for All. We focus on building strong, representative candidate pipelines and delivering a thoughtful, consistent hiring experience. This team works closely with Security, Privacy, Infrastructure, and Corporate Engineering leaders to ensure hiring plans align with business priorities and long-term growth. We are committed to clear communication, data-informed decisions, and continuous improvement across the recruiting lifecycle.
As a Senior Recruiter focused on Security & Privacy, you will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for highly specialized technical roles across Security and Privacy, with additional support for Corporate Engineering positions. You will partner directly with hiring managers to define hiring strategies, align on candidate profiles, and manage searches from intake through offer. You will serve as a trusted advisor on talent market trends, pipeline health, and interview best practices. Your work will directly support the protection of customer data and the reliability of the systems that power Robinhood’s products!

This role is based in our Toronto office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Partner with Security, Privacy, and Corporate Engineering leaders to define role scope, success criteria, and interview plans for each search
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer development, and closing
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates across security engineering, application security, privacy engineering, governance, and internal engineering functions
- Use recruiting data to track pipeline health, time to fill, and offer outcomes, and adjust strategies based on measurable results
- Ensure a consistent, equitable candidate experience by setting clear expectations, providing timely communication, and aligning interview panels to defined competencies
What you bring
- 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including experience hiring for Security, Privacy, or related engineering roles
- Demonstrated experience hiring for highly specialized technical skill sets such as cloud security, product security, security operations, or privacy engineering
- Experience partnering directly with senior technical stakeholders and providing structured guidance on hiring decisions
- Proven ability to build and convert passive candidate pipelines using multiple sourcing channels
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting tools (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, or similar platforms)

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
