Senior QA Manager, Gameplay - TFT

As a Senior QA Manager of Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Gameplay, you are an avid player of Teamfight Tactics(TFT). You are expected to understand Teamfight Tactics’ Gameplay as a player, from the player’s point of view. You will be utilizing gameplay terminology of TFT in your daily work, with all of your stakeholders.
You will manage Quality Assurance professionals who work with software engineers, content developers, artists, project managers, and producers to create value for Players around the world. You will be guided by Riot's Test Policy to develop quality activities for every stage of the software development life cycle. Additionally, you will partner with your team or Product leadership and other craft leaders to arrive at more efficient solutions to everyday problems and improve delivery. You will also direct and task other QA professionals, often remotely to get your work completed. You will report into a Senior QA Manager.
Responsibilities:
- You shape craft strategy that directly impacts the development strategy within a business unit
- You are accountable for the delivery of a comprehensive quality strategy for a smaller business unit or large initiative
- You manage the quality assurance efforts across multiple initiatives or teams with support from business unit senior leadership
- You are responsible for the results of the QA professionals across your sphere of influence
- You directly manage managers, leaders, and/or individual contributors on initiatives/teams in addition to guiding their day to day work
- You have in depth craft expertise in quality assurance and how it impacts and influences software development
- You partner across disciplines to influence decisions
Required Qualifications:
- Experience creating test strategies for products
- Experience setting strategic goals for teams to execute
- Experience managing performance of embedded QA professionals
- Experience working with remote testing teams
- Experience working with senior leadership to manage budgets and headcount
- Experience establishing quality metrics that influence strategy and drive change
- 8+ years Quality Assurance Experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience managing managers.
- Development experience across several platforms; mobile, console, and PC.
- Preferred Licenses/certifications:
- ISTQB Foundation Level
- ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST)
- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager
