The Role
SoFi's Loan Servicing team owns the post-loan funding experience for millions of members across SoFi's lending products. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to build and scale our multi-product servicing platform to meet the needs of our members and business.
In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, research, data science, design, legal, operations and business stakeholders to bring new capabilities to life and ensure they deliver measurable results. You will also drive member engagement, cross-sell, and ultimately increase member lifetime value as SoFi expands its product offerings.
This is a highly cross-functional and high-impact role for a product leader who thrives in ambiguity, can set clear direction in evolving spaces, and is equally comfortable defining strategy and driving execution.
What you'll need:
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or a similarly regulated, data-intensive environment
- Demonstrated ability to own a feature or product area end-to-end
- Strong customer instincts: you can identify the right problems to solve, prioritize confidently, and articulate what "done" looks like for our members
- Enough technical fluency to have credible conversations with engineers about system architecture, trade-offs, and feasibility
- Clear written and oral communication: you write quality documents, run focused meetings, and know how to tailor the message for engineers vs. leadership
- Experience using data to drive decisions by pulling metrics, reading results, and iterating based on evidence
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, ops, compliance, legal, finance) and keep execution on track within a multi-team environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience in lending, loan servicing, payments, or financial services operations
- Familiarity with third-party servicer integrations or complex vendor relationships alongside product work
- Exposure to compliance adjacent product work: fair lending, regulatory reporting, or audit readiness
- Comfort with SQL or self-serve data analysis tools to diagnose borrower behavior and product outcomes
- Experience working on legacy system modernization or platform migration initiatives
