About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager within the Roku Devices organization, you will be responsible for ushering in the next phase of growth for Roku’s streaming player business, our longest-running and most successful product line.
This is a broad role, requiring technical chops, business savvy, stellar communication, and drive. Some days you will be deep in technical reviews on new silicon or sensors. Other days, you may be observing focus groups, talking to customers, or briefing executive staff on market analysis. Above all, you’ll be embedded with a tight team of passionate, fun, and talented professionals all working to deliver the simplest, most accessible, and best performing home entertainment experience on the planet.
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced product leader with a track record of shipping hardware and software features that exceed customer expectations. They are strategic thinkers with strong business acumen and a pragmatic approach to product development. They can establish credibility up and down the leadership chain and influence decision-making that drives success for their programs. You should obsess over customer experience. Drive what matters: you never lose sight of the critical path and inspire others to follow it. See around corners: you are proactive, not reactive; you recognize long-range risks and know how to mitigate them—you may even be part psychic. Foster collaboration: a great team can do anything; you know how to build trust and deliver on your objectives by working across independent teams with independent priorities. Are pragmatic and data-driven: you make decisions with data and know how to proceed when none is available. Motivate others: you can inspire teams and influence peers to achieve ambitious goals. Thrive in dynamic environments: no two days at Roku are ever the same. Stay curious: you get excited about things you don’t know; you ask lots of questions and go searching for answers—geeking out is part of what makes it fun to come to work.

The Roku Culture
Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.
We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
