Senior Product Manager, Nitro

Our Nitro team is responsible for delivering the most premium version of Discord to our most loyal and engaged power users. We focus on building exciting features that provide value both on and off the platform, while developing the strategic incentives necessary to grow our subscriber base and deepen long-term retention.

We’re looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead our Nitro Value squad. You will be responsible for defining the vision for our premium feature set, launching new high-value experiences while continuously optimizing our existing catalog. You’ll drive execution on the roadmap you create, while partnering with Engagement and other Revenue teams to unlock new monetization opportunities for Nitro.

What You'll Be Doing

• Guide the product philosophy, vision and roadmap for Nitro Value, covering utility, identity, expression features that drive meaningful value to subscribers and increase subscription growth
• Lead cross-functional execution with a team of Engineering, Design, and Data Science to ship impactful features
• Partner with other product teams across Discord, like Engagement, Core Tech, and other Consumer Revenue teams (Boosting, Identity, Shop)
• Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels
• Empathize and relate to our users, especially those who are the most active on Discord

What you should have

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager shipping great software, driving prioritization, setting timelines, with a track record of building durable monetization infrastructure
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, excited about finding solutions to complex problems, and then executing on them
• Curiosity and empathy for Discord users, with a deep understanding of gaming culture and online communities
• Strong analytical ability to quickly organize and leverage data to make informed product decisions with cross-functional stakeholders. Experience making trade-offs related to achieving metric goals while ensuring we’re always delivering for customers
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers on user-facing products at high scale

Bonus Points

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical experience
• Experience building and growing consumer products, especially gaming, messaging, community, or social networking products

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $196,000 to $220,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
