About the Role
The Senior Processor Implementation Manager is a senior individual contributor role within FinPlat Operations function, focused on ensuring the reliable implementation, validation, and operational readiness of payment processors, funds flows, and platform changes across FinPlat. This role exists to apply deep system knowledge, operational judgment, and data expertise to complex payment workflows while partnering closely with Engineering, Accounting, Finance and Bank Operations teams. Success in this role is defined by high-quality implementations, faster issue resolution, and strong cross-functional trust.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $156,000 and up to $215,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role you can expect to
- Lead complex processor implementations, migrations, and platform changes within defined Processor Operations scope, ensuring operational readiness and clear handoff to steady-state owners.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on FinPlat payment flows, transaction lifecycles, and data models across multiple payment rails.
- Partner with Engineering to review changes, validate operational assumptions, and surface downstream impacts, running it by leadership where approval authority is required.
- Support Accounting, Audit, Risk, and Finance by interpreting platform behavior and transaction data to aid investigations and reporting
- Participate in incident response and escalations by driving investigation, proposing hypotheses, and supporting remediation, with accountability shared across owning teams.
- Define expected versus anomalous processor behavior and contribute to the design of monitors and alerts in partnership with Engineering and Processor Operations.
- Perform advanced data analysis and SQL-based investigations to support reconciliation research root-cause analysis and be able to articulate the finding to a broader audience. Produce clear documentation of processor behavior, funds flows, and operational nuances to reduce dependency on individual knowledge.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Implementation and Reconciliation Managers, providing implementation context and guidance while avoiding single-threaded dependency.
To thrive in this role, you have
- 8+ years in bank and/or payment operations with a broad understanding of operations; including accounting, funds flow, settlement, processing, etc.
- A strong reconciliation background
- An understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, including payment methods, card networks, issuer processing, and the regulatory environment
- An understanding of ACH originations, returns, settlements and everything in between, AAP certification is a huge plus
- Familiarity with network operations including Visa, Mastercard, PLUS, and Star, as well as with network vendors that facilitate AFT/OCT payments and other forms of card-based money movement
- Extensive experience with Google Office (Sheets, Docs and Slides), analytics platforms (Looker, Snowflake), SQL, core banking systems and related products.
- Experience working cross functionally with Product, Accounting, Compliance, Legal, Risk & Engineering to identify, evaluate and size opportunities and prioritize work
- Experience driving continuous improvement projects, where you’ve applied deep knowledge to uncover and execute both short term and long term optimizations

- A curious and creative problem solving ability - can facilitate resolution of issues in a timely manner by working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
