About the Role

Udemy Business is seeking a Senior Manager, Integration Services to lead a team of Integration Specialists and partner with vendors to implement best practices for integrating with Udemy Business. Reporting to [insert manager's title], you will play a crucial role in managing partner integrations, aligning strategic objectives with technical solutions, and driving program management excellence.

This role combines technical expertise with leadership, requiring a consultative approach to guide internal and external stakeholders through complex integration challenges. You’ll oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring they align with our business objectives and deliver optimal value.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of Integration Specialists, providing mentorship and guidance in technical integration best practices.
  • Collaborate with Partner Management and technology partners to design and implement integration solutions that enhance Udemy Business service offerings.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, leveraging APIs and other connectors to achieve seamless system interactions.
  • Apply strong program management skills to oversee a portfolio of concurrent integration projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Guide customers and your team in adopting APIs and implementing effective integration strategies.
  • Drive discussions on system architecture, offering insights and recommendations for integration enhancements and new technologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training on integration processes, fostering knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Stay informed on Edtech interoperability standards and apply this knowledge to optimize partner integrations.
  • Partner with Product Management to inform product roadmap of APIs, services, and connectors

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical roles related to systems integration, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong partner-facing and communication skills, capable of translating complex technical issues into understandable and actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, with proficiency in program management.
  • Proficiency with integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, and middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience leading teams and developing talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and modern integration patterns such as microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Preferably experienced with common Edtech interoperability standards.

  • Ability to engage and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful integration projects within a B2B or SaaS environment.
