Overview

The FinSys Analytics Team operates at the nexus of financial systems, data management, and strategy. Our mission is to empower Instacart's Finance and Accounting organization by providing accurate, actionable, and high value data solutions. By blending business acumen with technical expertise, we build and maintain data products that streamline financial reporting, facilitate deep analysis, and support strategic decision-making.

We are seeking an energetic technical leader to manage a growing team of analysts responsible for building the data models, pipelines, and reports that power decision-making across Instacart’s Finance and Accounting organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing the vision and roadmap for how data science drives Instacart’s financial strategy, profitability, and operational excellence.

In this role you’ll partner closely with technical and non-technical teams alike, to passionately serve the reporting needs of the business, ensuring data products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Additionally, you will spearhead initiatives to support regulatory compliance, collaborate closely with external auditors, and provide seamless support to stakeholders during month-end close.
