Digital Brickster Experience is a critical function for driving productivity, engagement, and satisfaction across Databricks. As a Senior Manager in Digital Brickster Experience within IT Infrastructure & Operations, you will act as a cross-functional leader focused on ensuring seamless integration, communication, and support of essential IT tools—including advanced AI and collaboration platforms—and workflows. By treating the employee journey as your product, you will actively listen to user needs, shape strategic IT initiatives, and scale operational fundamentals to support Databricks’ continued rapid growth.

The impact you will have:

  • Lead and scale systems integration for business-critical employee, collaboration, and AI platforms (e.g., Atlassian products, GitHub, Glean, ChatGPT Enterprise, Perplexity, core SaaS solutions), ensuring high reliability and a frictionless user experience.
  • Oversee the automation of Brickster experiences related to onboarding, and collaboration workflows, driving process improvements that enable frictionless experiences across employee lifecycle and team collaboration touchpoints.
  • Own management-created groups and directory automation, proactively addressing escalations (e.g., EOR employee group assignments) and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the primary bridge between IT, executive stakeholders, and communications, driving transparent, effective, and timely end-user communications around new features, changes, and service incidents—including adoption and change management for AI-enabled and collaborative productivity tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and operationalize policies for privacy, security, and service delivery encompassing both AI and collaboration technologies.
  • Drive vendor management and contract renewal initiatives for strategic IT, AI, and collaboration solutions used by employees (e.g., negotiate renewals and secure favorable pricing for platforms such as Atlassian, GitHub, Glean, ChatGPT Enterprise, Perplexity).
  • Develop, document, and champion best practices for knowledge management and self-service automation, fostering employee enablement for current and future AI and collaboration toolsets.
  • Capture and synthesize employee feedback—especially around AI tool and collaboration software adoption—to inform IT strategy and prioritize enhancements that maximize business impact.

What we look for:

  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in IT Infrastructure, Digital Brickster Experience, or a related field, with at least 3 years in team or program leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of modern SaaS platforms, enterprise AI technologies (such as Glean, ChatGPT Enterprise, Perplexity), collaboration environments (Atlassian, GitHub), IT service delivery, workflow automation, and communication best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational scaling and implement process improvements in support of rapidly growing organizations, particularly with emerging digital, AI-centric, and collaborative platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership, including direct experience working with executive teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and policy documentation skills.
  • Track record of successful vendor management, enterprise contract negotiations, and partnerships with leading SaaS, AI, and collaboration technology providers.
  • Experience developing and operationalizing knowledge management and self-service IT solutions—including those powered by AI and supporting collaborative work—is a plus.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
