Responsibilities
- Partner with the local leadership and employees to drive organizational health, employee experience, and employee relations
- Act as a strategic partner to the Poland Site Lead, influencing culture, engagement, and people priorities. Collaborate with Internal Comms, Workforce Planning, Finance, and Virtual First teams
- Ensure policies, benefits, payroll, legal, and finance processes are aligned with Dropbox standards driving a best in class employee experience
- Partner with recruiting to design hiring plans and with L&OD to deliver onboarding that integrates Dropbox’s global framework with a strong local touch
- Lead and execute the People Rhythm in line with our values, ensuring we scale consistently and effectively across teams
- Guide fair and principled resolution of ER matters, workplace investigations, and accommodations in partnership with ER and legal
- Deliver consistent thought leadership and employee advocacy on people programs and processes; support client groups throughout the employee lifecycle (attraction, retention, development)
Requirements
- 8+ years in HR, with at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner or equivalent role directly supporting managers and employees in a virtual first environment.
- Demonstrated experience working within the Polish market, particularly navigating employment law, talent planning and employee relations in a local context.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders (e.g., Site Lead) to shape culture, drive organizational health, and support manager enablement.
- Strong judgment in handling sensitive ER matters, workplace investigations, and accommodations, balancing employee experience with business priorities.
- Demonstrated experience ensuring foundational HR processes (policies, benefits, payroll, compliance) are in place and aligned with company standards.
- Experience partnering with global COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&OD, Benefits, Legal, Finance) to deliver consistent programs adapted for local needs.
- Ability to proactively analyze people data (attrition, performance, engagement) and provide actionable insights to influence leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and influence leaders, ICs, and cross-functional partners.
- Comfort working in a virtual-first environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and novel situations.
- Comfort leveraging new tools (e.g., AI) and applying design thinking/product management principles to HR initiatives is strongly preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust, and willingness to travel for offsites and team events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a global/ virtual-first company in an HRBP role
- Familiarity with employment law in Poland. Broader EMEA markets is also desirable
- Prior experience coaching managers on performance issues and conducting internal investigations into employee complaints
- Advanced degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field
