Roblox is looking for a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to join the Enterprise Applications team within Corporate Engineering. As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining company SaaS applications and tools. This includes partnering with cross functional teams (HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and other organizational stakeholders) to assist with any and all application integrations. You will work to ensure that the enterprise SaaS technology architecture and governance are aligned to strategic business initiatives, company goals, and our mission for self service and efficiency . This role is a great opportunity to join a scaling team and help build out the enterprise applications function at Roblox.

 

You Have

  • 6+ years of experience in the IT space with 3+ years of experience in design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise SaaS applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both engineering and non-engineering audiences with customer focus and problem solving mentality.

  • Experience with implementation and administration of SSO/SAML/IAM systems.

  • Experience with API integration work

  • Proven experience with managing cloud applications and platforms.

  • Ability to find out-of-box solutions to best fit Roblox needs.

  • Self-starter with the ability to overcome all obstacles and challenges with little to no supervision.

  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize automation over manual processes.

 

You Will

  • Administrator applications, including managing the installation, configuration, and upgrades of SaaS solutions in the enterprise applications and collaboration space (Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Confluence/Jira, Zoom, Glean, Airtable, and et al)

  • Implement SaaS system changes and administering access to systems and information within approved security policies, guidelines, and standards.

  • Assess business requirements, evaluating possible solutions and then implementing and/or recommending solutions.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to develop scalable and reliable solutions.

  • Assist in technical support problem resolutions related to business application software systems.

  • Write scripts or workflows to assist in automating manual processes

  • Create and maintaining standards, procedures, and documentation related to areas of responsibility.

  • Participate in system audits and perform testing for disaster recovery or SOX controls, ensuring a secure processing environment that protects the integrity and availability of information.

  • Participate in recommending budget items; implements and allocates resources following budget approval.

  • Create sandbox/test environments for evaluation and testing of new technologies.

 

Plus

  • Experience with Okta Workflows.

  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, etc) and CLI tools.

  • Experience with Terraform for configuration management

  • Advanced experience with Google Workspace

 

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range
$190,130—$226,450 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
