Hover is looking for a strategic, disciplined, and outcomes-driven Senior Enterprise Account Executive to accelerate growth across our largest construction customers.

You bring a track record of success selling into complex enterprise environments—navigating multi-layered decision processes, aligning stakeholders from the field to the boardroom, and translating vision into measurable results. You’re known for your ability to simplify complexity, operate with structure, and create clarity across multiple workstreams.

This role is built for a seller who thrives on ownership and accountability: someone who builds comprehensive account plans, executes with precision, and leads through influence—both internally and externally. You know how to engage executives, partner cross-functionally, and drive alignment that leads to long-term enterprise impact.

You will contribute by

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive (Construction), you’ll lead strategic growth across Hover’s largest enterprise accounts—contractors, distributors, and manufacturers. You’ll balance expansion within existing portfolios with disciplined pursuit of new-logo opportunities, driving both revenue and long-term enterprise impact.

Operating at the forefront of Hover’s go-to-market strategy, you’ll orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles that span Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Marketing. Your ability to translate strategic vision into structured execution will be key—developing comprehensive account plans, navigating executive conversations, and aligning resources to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to VP- and C-suite-level leaders, connecting Hover’s platform to their most critical initiatives while fostering deep, multi-layered partnerships. Internally, you’ll drive cross-functional alignment and accountability within your pod, partnering closely with your Account Manager/CSM counterpart to ensure clarity, cadence, and operational precision.

Through disciplined execution and the use of enterprise best practices such as MEDDPICC, you’ll maintain accuracy, consistency, and forecast rigor—helping propel Hover to the next level of growth across the construction vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and expanding revenue across a defined book of strategic enterprise contractor, distributor, and manufacturer accounts while driving new growth through targeted net-new acquisition.
  • Developing and executing structured account plans that deliver measurable outcomes, balancing strategic vision with operational discipline.
  • Leading complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, collaborating closely with internal teams across Product, Finance, Operations, and Legal to align on deal strategy, value creation, and execution.
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with VP- and C-suite-level leaders, acting as a strategic advisor who connects Hover’s platform to their most critical business priorities.
  • Driving internal alignment and accountability by partnering with your pod counterpart (Account Manager/CSM) to ensure clarity, cadence, and consistent follow-through on initiatives.
  • Applying disciplined execution and enterprise best practices such as MEDDPICC to maintain precision, forecast accuracy, and operational excellence.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and competitive developments, representing Hover at key industry events, conferences, and executive forums to strengthen our market presence and generate new business opportunities.

Your background includes

  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally in construction tech, SaaS, or similarly complex industries.
  • Proven success closing high 6-figure, multi-year enterprise deals and managing 6–9-month sales cycles across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strategic selling expertise with the ability to translate customer challenges into solution roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ownership of structured account plans, driving clarity, accountability, and execution across large organizations, internally and externally..
  • Operational excellence with mastery of MEDDPICC or Challenger frameworks, ensuring precision and forecast accuracy.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience building ROI and business-case models.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments and influence cross-functional partners across Product, Finance, Operations, and Legal.
  • Executive presence and communication skills, confident engaging VP- and C-suite-level leaders to drive strategic alignment.
  • High degree of organization and follow-through, managing multiple enterprise deals and workstreams with structure and discipline.

Hybrid roles at Hover

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.

The US base salary range for this full-time position ranges from $160,000 - $197,000 with an OTE of $320,000 - $395,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
