Senior Employee Learning Manager

The role of Senior Employee Learning Manager has a critical role to play in the next phase of MongoDB's growth. You will help identify critical skills of the future, design innovative learning experiences and ensure that our employees are continuously developing the capabilities they need to succeed in a fast-changing environment. You will design, build, and scale learning programs that will enable all employees to live our values, serve our customers, and ultimately strengthen culture and accelerate performance. This role is part of the Culture, Talent, and Development (CTD) leadership team. As a team, we are responsible for culture and talent building programs, including leadership development, employee learning, talent management, engagement, listening, and inclusion.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- End-to-end ownership of learning projects to further the company’s culture and people objectives, e.g., increase effectiveness of employee onboarding through a comprehensive strategy, including training, tooling, and measurement
- Identify and implement opportunities for AI-assisted solutions and AI agents to scale learning solutions
- Own the management and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate scalable and impactful asynchronous learning experiences
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve personalized learning pathways and content to meet diverse learner needs while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and initiatives
- Collaborate with Business Leaders and HRBPs to deliver solutions to accelerate employee growth and development
- Create scalable solutions (including learning experiences, playbooks, tools, comms cascades, etc.) to equip employees with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to fulfill our Leadership Commitment, e.g., creating a learning journey for employees to strengthen their demonstration of our Leadership Principles
- Partner closely with Culture, Talent & Development team colleagues to embed our Leadership Commitment across the employee lifecycle, e.g., partnering with Talent Management to align our career progression framework and talent processes to fulfil the Leadership Commitment
- Foster operational excellence across our learning programs to optimize efficiency, scalability and impact, while ensuring we are maximizing organizational benefit through participation and learner outcomes
- Refine our learning measurement strategy to evaluate and measure the effectiveness and engagement of learning programs, using insights to continually evolve and iterate on solutions
- Manage relationships with stakeholders across all levels, ensuring that the project team and stakeholders have an adequate understanding of ownership, timelines, resource needs, risks, constraints, and dependencies
- Ensure alignment of deliverables, project priorities and resources with business objectives and other People Team initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional HR projects
- 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering adult learning experiences
- Demonstrated ability to drive impact on business objectives
- Experience in managing learning programs on LMS/LXP (Docebo preferred)
- Experience customizing strategies and deliverables to meet the needs of individual business units, including right sizing to meet business needs
- Strong consulting skills (e.g., communication, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills)
- Demonstrated ability to measure & analyze learning outcomes
- Strong track record of delivering highly impactful solutions in fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellence in written communication and project documentation
- Excellence in communicating and presenting, especially with executive audiences
- Strategic mindset balanced with a willingness to be hands on
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience as an HR Business Partnering
- Experience leveraging AI-supported platforms to scale and optimize training initiatives

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
