Your role is to collaborate with senior stakeholders on the business stakeholder team, focusing on data aggregation, analysis, and insight generation for the loyalty program. Familiarity with the telecom industry and with loyalty, churn, or retention strategy in a digital product or service context is highly desired. You will be responsible for pulling together disparate data sources and reports into cohesive views covering churn, customer trends, and industry benchmarks. In this role, you will help stakeholders understand challenges, frame opportunities, and propose solutions that support loyalty strategy. This includes conducting in-depth analysis, deriving actionable insights, and preparing presentations for leadership. You will also manage incoming data requests across multiple teams and leadership levels, ensuring timely delivery of accurate insights. Beyond analysis, you will support the broader product and data strategy by helping to structure and run proof-of-concept efforts where needed. Proximity to Basking Ridge, NJ, with flexibility to be in-office 1–3 days per week (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • We seek candidates who are empathetic and can use a mix of skills to understand end user motivations and pain points as well as what the business is trying to achieve. 
  • Work with a senior stakeholder through an undefined task, conducting workshop and brainstorming sessions, understanding business goals. 
  • Apply user centric thinking to design and prototype Business Intelligence tasks.
  • Implement a highly visual approach when sharing ideas that engages and challenges the thinking of non-technical audiences. 
  • Conduct data/analytics work sessions or workshops with internal teams. 
  • Work closely with the rest of the data science team at Method to implement the PoC solution. 

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, data strategy, or related fields, with a proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data aggregation/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
  • Experience in key programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python, SQL, etc.) 
  • Experience working with large, disparate data sets across multiple business systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize findings into clear narratives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing decks and delivering insights to senior leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and manage competing data requests.
  • Self-starter who can work independently while contributing to larger team initiatives.
  • Familiarity with loyalty, churn, or retention strategy in a product or service context (desired).
  • Proximity to Basking Ridge, NJ, with flexibility to be in-office 1–3 days per week (preferred).
