We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to lead the migration of data solutions from AWS/Athena, BigQuery, and Tableau Server to a modern data ecosystem powered by Snowflake and Tableau Cloud. This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on SQL expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing queries, datasets, and dashboards in Athena, BigQuery, and Tableau Server to understand current data models and reporting logic.
Rewrite and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to support migration into Snowflake.
Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure consistency between legacy and new data environments.
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports connected to Snowflake, ensuring high performance and data accuracy.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
Optimize performance of queries and dashboards across Snowflake and Tableau environments.
Create and maintain clear documentation for data sources, transformations, and reporting layers.
Communicate insights and technical changes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-have Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role.
Proven experience in data migration projects, especially transitioning from Athena and BigQuery to Snowflake.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization.
Advanced experience building dashboards in Tableau (Tableau Cloud preferred).
Experience validating and reconciling large datasets across systems.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Advanced English level (B2+/C1) with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced, and collaborative environments.

Nice-to-have

AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
Experience with Looker Studio or other BI tools.
Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance best practices.
Snowflake and/or Tableau certifications.
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
