About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Corporate Accountant to support our core accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting close and reporting cycles, and maintaining strong internal controls within a fast-growing SaaS organization.
This is a full-time position based in our Bengaluru, India office. During the initial onboarding period (typically 3 months), the role will primarily work U.S. business hours in a remote capacity to support close collaboration with the team. As the individual gains proficiency and autonomy in the role, the position will transition to a hybrid, in-office schedule in Bengaluru, working standard IST hours. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do
- Own key areas of corporate accounting, including general ledger activities, cash, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
- Support close processes, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis of OpEx and Payroll.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounts Payable, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Help document, maintain, and improve accounting processes to support scalability.
Skills We’re Looking For
- 3 - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and operational accounting fundamentals
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and a mindset toward process improvement and automation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with collaborating cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong attention to detail
Bonus Skills
- Experience with tools such as FloQast, Coupa, or BigQuery
- Exposure to technical accounting areas such as lease accounting
- SQL or data analysis skills
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude
