VALORANT has been expanding our foothold in different platforms (From PC to console), and we are heading into the mobile gaming market in 2025.

Valorant is Riot’s take on a character-based tactical shooter. As a Brand Manager you will join the China Publishing Valorant marketing team to help shepherd a brand from concept to realization. You will be launching this brand from scratch in a highly competitive landscape using your deep knowledge of the market, your expertise in crafting marketing strategies, and your eye for great creativity to keep us top of mind with audiences around the world. You will be working across many different marketing disciplines to develop best-in-class global campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with global teams to develop campaign/creative briefs (lots of them) to support our internal partners and service teams, while ensuring that our tactics continue to drive our brand and product forward
  • You will work closely with Tencent and TJ sports, in leading and co-creating China campaign programs that focus our team’s calories on the things that matter most, ensuring we establish the same product focused,  unapologetically global, long-lasting, meaningful experience that resonates with players in China
  • You will pay close attention to everything happening within our community, and partner with our internal insights team to drive marketing research, leveling up the team’s collective knowledge of our player and market
  • You will connect product truth, player insights, esports and community knowledge to make most informed marketing strategy/tactic that enhances player-facing experience
  • You will partner with cross-discipline marketing teams and service partners to execute global campaign tactics
  • You will be the ultimate brand shepherd between global marketing and local publishing partners

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of marketing experience in campaign planning and development
  • Experience working with data to inform creative briefs and program execution
  • Experience working across multiple campaign programs simultaneously
  • Experience collaborating with outside agencies and vendors to executive campaign tactics

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on cultural brands that focus on niche audiences
  • Experience working with cross-functional marketing teams
  • FPS enthusiast with deep knowledge of tactical shooter genre and its community
  • Strong organizational management skills
  • Experience working on products at all stages of development
  • Experience facilitating and working with creative professionals
