Key Responsibilities

• Apply agile software development practices and define application architecture models and programming standards.
• Design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management while setting application development standards.
• Collaborate with product teams to manage technical scope and deliverables, identify strategic technical debt, and provide cost/benefit analysis and prioritization recommendations
  
  

Must-have Skills

• 7+ years of Android native Mobile development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Familiar with data structure, system design, design patterns, API designs, MVP or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
• Full stack background is a huge plus. Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc is a plus.
• A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies. If you have a background in journalism, even better!

Nice-to-have:

AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
