About the role

The Corporate Accounting team is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager on a contract basis to cover a medical leave. As the Sr Accounting Manager you will support running GL and Global Consolidations.

You'll report to the Director of Accounting and collaborate with partners in Finance and Accounting to manage the monthly close cycle, prepare consolidations, support intercompany eliminations, and ensure all journal entries and reconciliations are complete and accurate.

  • Manage and execute components of the month-end and quarter-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Partner with the FP&A, Tax, and Technical Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with corporate policies.
  • Support intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliation of balances across subsidiaries.
  • Review and enhance internal controls and documentation to ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements.

This contract position is expected to run for 6–8 months and is remote within California

About You

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a public company or SOX environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, intercompany accounting, and consolidations.
  • Proven experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Index Match, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP system (preferably NetSuite or similar);
  • CPA (active or inactive)

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
