Key Responsibilities
- Perform the accounting activities, including recording transactions in the GL and
preparing monthly accruals. - Perform Month End close (MEC) activities, ensuring entries are accurately
recorded and review variance analyses. - Prepare and support the intercompany transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annually financial reports to the corporate entity.
- Review and approve monthly payroll. Support new hires enrollments and employee
terminations. Including Perform employees benefits reconciliations. - Payroll tax and social security contributions knowledge (preferred)
- Support different internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Review social security contributions and ensure payments are processed
accurately and on time. - Review and monitor employee reimbursements.
- Review vendor and customer invoices to ensure compliance with local and federal
taxes. - Work closely with the Treasury to manage AP activities.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecast.
- Work closely with auditors by providing required information and supporting audit
requests. - Perform trial balance reconciliations.
- Monitor ongoing tax compliance by meeting with the tax consultants frequently to
review tax related matters and to meet with the deadlines. Provide the accounting
information to ensure the tax filling process is being completed accurately and
timely.
Must-have Skills
Bachelor´s degree in Accounting
● Strong knowledge of monthly end closing activities for local books and consolidated
level.
● Experience with USGAAP and IFRS compliance
● Fluent English
● Netsuite knowledge. (Preferred)
● Minimum of three years of prior experience in this position, or in a similar financial
role.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Good organizational and time management skills
● Ability to work independently and in a team
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to prioritize
● Willing to learn and solve complex problems.
● Effective communication with local banks.
