While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

Join Coinbase's Germany Country Pod to influence the future of cryptocurrency adoption in Germany. Manage and grow relationships with high-value consumer customers in Germany, driving revenue, volume, share of wallet, adoption, and retention while ensuring a compliant, world-class experience. Blending proactive customer success with commercial ownership to turn insights into measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own a revenue-carrying book and deliver sustained growth in portfolio revenue, net inflows, trading volume, and revenue retention.
  • Accelerate adoption of relevant features and products (for example, Advanced Trade, recurring buys/DCA, staking/rewards where available and compliant) aligned to customer needs.
  • Host targeted 1:1s, roundtables, webinars, or small events; ensure rigorous post-event follow-up and demonstrable ROI in funding, volume, and product attach.
  • Proactively “horizon scan” the broader customer base to identify potential VIPs; run structured outreach cadences to convert them into managed relationships and incremental revenue.
  • Build and execute data-driven commercial account plans: define goals, quantify opportunities, set quarterly targets, and run business reviews to track progress and adjust tactics.
  • Monitor accounts for revenue-impacting signals (dormancy, deposit/payment failures, outflows, fee-tier thresholds) and intervene rapidly to protect or grow the relationship.
  • Represent and advocate for customers internally; synthesize feedback and partner with Product, Operations, and Growth on experiments and lifecycle improvements with measurable uplift.
  • Operate with strict compliance and risk discipline; adhere to BaFin, EU/MiCA, AML/KYC, and GDPR requirements; ensure communications are accurate and non-advisory.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a relationship management, customer success, account management, or sales/advisory role in a fast-paced environment; proven revenue or target-carrying track record.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue across a managed portfolio (e.g. through upsell, cross-sell, share-of-wallet expansion).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to turn data into prioritized actions and commercial plays (funnels, cohorts, conversion, ARPU).
  • Fantastic communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence customers and align internal teams to drive results.
  • Flexible and adaptable; strong task management, decisive prioritization, and efficient execution in a dynamic, regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of blockchain/crypto concepts (for example, custody and security basics, trading, staking/rewards where available, subscriptions) and comfort discussing them within compliance boundaries.
  • Native German and fluent English.
  • Based in Germany; willing to travel domestically for customer meetings and events; authorized to work in Germany.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience serving VIP/HNW retail or premium consumer segments.
  • High proficiency with Coinbase products and the broader crypto ecosystem.
  • Event or community-led growth experience with quantifiable revenue impact.
  • Familiarity with BaFin and EU/MiCA frameworks; experience partnering with Compliance/Risk (KYC/AML/EDD).
