About the role
 

As a Recruiter, you’ll partner with hiring managers across Roku’s Media, Subscriptions, and Corporate Functions business areas to find qualified candidates, cultivate amazing experiences, and guide hiring managers and interview teams in their quest to hire the best person for each open position. Additionally, you’ll use your strong project management skills to organize complex hiring situations, track competitive market intelligence, and keep things moving towards a successful hire. You’ll take ownership of streamlining our process, from resume review through new employee onboarding.  

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $108,000 - $117,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.


What you’ll be doing 

  • Partner with hiring managers to provide strategic talent acquisition guidance for various teams at Roku 
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting efforts, including kickoff meetings, sourcing, advise on interview best practices, and utilizing closing strategies to make the right hire  
  • Evaluate candidates thoroughly, conduct engaging screens, prepare compelling candidate profiles, and present top candidates to stakeholders 
  • Analyze market trends and understand the nuances of various roles at Roku to identify and attract the right talent 
  • Identify relevant candidates through creative active outreach on social media, through networking, and utilizing our sourcing tools 
  • Maintain open, proactive communication with Talent Acquisition peers, People teams, and leadership to keep everyone aligned on search progress 
  • Continually assess and improve recruitment processes and candidate experiences to ensure excellence 
  • Strive to deliver outstanding service and ensure both candidates and hiring managers have positive, memorable experiences 

 

We’re excited if you have 

  • Demonstrable full cycle recruiting experience, ideally in the adtech or media industry 
  • Ability to work with urgency, adapt to ambiguity, and handle multiple priorities seamlessly 
  • Proven success in sourcing candidates via ATS, social media, networking, and creative outreach methods 
  • Experience with Greenhouse, Workday, or similar ATS platforms 
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making 
  • Proven success closing candidates and managing the full recruitment lifecycle 
  • Ability to balance client needs with candidate search constraints effectively 
  • Willingness and flexibility to support recruiting across various roles as needed 
  • Experience recruiting for a broad range of roles from advertising sales and marketing to data science and finance 
  • 3+ years of recruiting talent at all levels and across business functions
