As the Publishing Operations, Wild Rift (Contractor), you will play a pivotal role in leading complex, cross-team programs and shaping the operational backbone of Wild Rift Publishing. You will oversee both the delivery of cross-team initiatives and the implementation of systems and tools that empower WR publishing teams to operate effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine WR Publishing Operations frameworks and rituals that drive alignment, accountability, and clear outcomes.
- Run Wild Rift Publishing Team’s iterative planning processes that enable ongoing two-way communications and collaboration to maintain close alignment in our operations.
- Lead the lifecycle of complex cross-team programs from discovery through delivery, ensuring seamless execution and cohesive player experiences.
- Establish and manage program schedules, track progress, and proactively communicate and mitigate risks.
- Oversee cross-team dependencies, facilitate scope alignment, and resolve roadblocks across global teams.
- Serve as the point of contact for WR Publishing tooling (e.g. Airtable), partnering with teams to gather requirements, pilot solutions, and drive adoption of systems that support cross-team execution.
- Standardize and maintain scalable workflows and knowledge management systems for WR Publishing.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, or consulting, leading high-complexity projects in Games, Entertainment, or Tech industries.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional, global projects with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Hands-on experience implementing and scaling team tooling (e.g., Airtable, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Skilled in establishing and running operational systems, processes, and rituals that align stakeholders and drive clear outcomes.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
Desired Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience with live service products and/or publishing operations.
- Master of Business Administration Degree
- Passion for games and deep empathy for the player experience.
- Experience leading through influence, navigating ambiguity, and managing change in dynamic environments.
