The role
As a Project Manager within our Capital Markets team, you will be the connective tissue that drives our most critical initiatives from conception to execution. This is a high-visibility, manager-level role designed for a strategic operator who excels at navigating complex financial landscapes and cross-functional environments. You will be responsible for orchestrating large-scale projects that involve internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven leader who doesn’t just track tasks, but takes full ownership of the project lifecycle. You are someone who can synthesize high-level strategic concepts into actionable project plans, ensuring that no detail is missed and every deadline is met. If you are a master of documentation, an expert communicator, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accountability is paramount, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Support the end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale Capital Markets projects, ensuring all workstreams are aligned with broader business objectives and organizational goals.
- Provide comprehensive project management support to the Capital Markets team, acting as a key coordinator for project workflows, facilitating seamless collaboration and proactively resolving bottlenecks across departments.
- Synthesize high-level strategic concepts and complex financial data into cohesive project frameworks, actionable roadmaps, and execution strategies.
- Maintain rigorous project documentation and governance standards, including the creation of detailed meeting minutes, project charters, decision logs, and status reports.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines and schedules, holding all stakeholders accountable to critical deliverables and milestones.
- Design high-quality presentation decks and visual materials to communicate progress, educate stakeholders on new initiatives, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Drive departmental efficiency by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and implementing standardized project management toolkits and best practices.
- Take full ownership and leadership of project outcomes, anticipating potential risks and developing robust mitigation plans to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
What you’ll need:
- 5-8 years of experience in project management or operations, preferably within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or a high-growth Fintech environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multi-stakeholder initiatives and managing large-scale projects from ideation through to completion.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to "connect the dots" across multiple complex concepts while maintaining an extreme attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill technical information into clear, educational, and persuasive content.
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com) and G-Suite/Microsoft Office, with expert-level skills in building professional presentation materials.
- A self-driven work ethic and a "no task too small" attitude, paired with the leadership presence required to drive accountability across diverse teams.
- Mastery of organization and scheduling, with a disciplined approach to managing calendars, documentation, and digital filing systems.
- Resilience and the ability to work effectively under pressure, managing tight timelines and shifting priorities without compromising on quality or accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
